The Wedding of Elliot & Melissa in Boliqueime, Portugal
The most beautiful destination wedding of Elliot and Melissa on the wonderful Algarve in Portugal.
The wedding was held in a stunning cliff top villa in Boliqueime, close to Vilamoura. The views from the villa were simply spectacular and I instantly knew why the couple had booked this sensational location. The villa itself was perfectly set up for weddings with gorgeous grounds to compliment the breathtaking view. The wedding breakfast was at tables set around the swimming pool, which made for the perfect sunset dinner.
It was an incredibly warm September day with wall to wall sunshine. The ceremony was at 4pm, avoiding the hottest part of the day, and the party ran late into the night!
I photographed the whole day from the grooms preparation in the morning, through to the first dance in the evening.
I concentrated on capturing lots of natural, candid moments throughout the day as I always do. A small selection of my photographs from the day are below, please take a look.
